Varghese John, DMD, is a cosmetic dentist and founder of Advanced Dentistry. Dr. John and his team offer compassionate dental care to families living in Sugar Land, Texas, transforming their smiles with personalized treatments and excellent oral health education. 

Dr. John received his doctorate in dental medicine from the University of the East College of Dentistry in Manila, Philippines. 

Following graduation, he went on to pursue specialty training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He also received general dentistry training at Mount Vernon Hospital and Northwick Park Hospital in England, as well as advanced training in implant surgery and bone grafting at the University of Belgrade’s Faculty of Medicine in Serbia. 

After spending some time gaining broad experiences around the world, Dr. John relocated to the United States in 1993. With a passion for education, he took a special interest in advanced cosmetic dentistry training at Lousiana State University and the Seattle Institute of Cosmetic Dentistry, and implant prosthodontics and surgery at Misch International Implant Institute. 

Dr. John started his career as a cosmetic dentist, serving the wonderful community of Sugar Land in 1996. He opened his doors to Advanced Dentistry for families seeking exceptional dental care from a highly skilled team. Since then, the practice has become a trusted dental home for cosmetic, restorative, and general dentistry treatments. 

As residents of the Sugar Land community, Dr. John and his family love all that it has to offer. They are currently active members of the International Bible Church, and enjoy spending time together in the local area.

Sanaz Rouhani, DDS, is a dedicated general dentist at Advanced Dentistry. Dr. Rouhani enjoys helping local families in Sugar Land, Texas, achieve healthy, bright smiles and oral health they can truly be confident in. 

Dr. Rouhani completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Houston in Texas, and earned her doctorate in dental surgery from Texas A&M College of Dentistry. She is highly skilled in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Continuing to perfect her craft and new techniques, such as the latest laser treatments and dental prosthetics, Dr. Rouhani remains on top of her ability to deliver beautiful outcomes. 

Passionate about patients’ experiences, Dr. Rouhani also seeks education courses each year to offer the best dental treatment options for her patients. She is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Clear Aligners, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. 

At Advanced Dentistry, Dr. Rouhani always makes her patients’ well-being the top priority. Along with her cheerful and soft approach to dental care, she ensures every patient in her care feels at ease when receiving any kind of treatment. 

Dr. Rouhani currently lives with her husband and their lovely twins. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and playing tennis with her loved ones.
